Remaining in Scotland after yesterday’s post, pictured here is the Martyr’s Memorial in the shadows of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club in St. Andrews, Scotland. One of the martyrs memorialized here is George Wishart who was burned at the stake on March 1, 1546. He was charged with challenging the Roman Catholic Church and preaching Protestantism to those around him.
