It is well known that Idi Amin was a Ugandan dictator, but he was also a brutal persecutor of Christians. On February 10, 1973, he gathered 3000 people into a stadium in Kabale, Uganda, to watch his military shoot three Christians. Despite the horrific circumstances of their deaths, these three Christians smiled and waved before they were shot. This made many Ugandans question the source of the Christians’ peace, and ultimately increased the spread of the Gospel in Uganda.
